About the role:

Due to exceptional growth over the last 18 months we’re looking to recruit a Sales Consultant to join our team.

Working closely with the Managing Director and Business Development Manager the role encompasses all aspects you’d expect from a SaaS sales role. You will be required to source and nurture your own leads, present our services and close the deal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing of new leads: Using your own initiative
  • ‘Smart’ prospecting: We like to engage with potential clients on a topical, interpersonal level. Generic emailing and mindless cold calling are a thing of the past.
  • Engage with your prospects: Via email, telephone, online screen shares and face to face meetings building genuine relationships that last past the close. At eLamb we sell our people just as much as we do our products.
  • Take full responsibility: For the entire sales process from finding a name to closing the deal and a sprinkle of account management going forward.
  • Immerse yourself: With our products, services, competition and the market place – we refer to ourselves as eLearning and LMS boffins. You need to have the intelligence to inform, educate and deliver the right services for your customers.
  • Meet and exceed KPI’s: All sales based.
  • Be part of the team: We’ve carefully built a team of personalities that gel, we’re looking for someone who’s fun, friendly, intelligent, motivated and cares.

About You

First and foremost, you enjoy picking up the phone and speaking to people.

It’s essential to us that you’re able to work alone and as part of our team, you’re comfortable in all aspects of the sales process, possess a can-do attitude and make things happen.

All we ask is that you’re capable of selling, dedicated, willing to learn and hungry to succeed.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in either a business development or sales consultant role
  • A proven track record of success in the world of B2B sales
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills + interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail

Additional Information

You will be based in our Darlington office, located in Business Central – a 5-minute walk from the train station. Occasional UK travel will be required.

Remuneration

As our relationships strengthened with our customers, the demand for eLearning and online training grew, so we mixed it up and grew into a “blended” training partner for our customers.

We now provide bespoke eLearning courses, off the shelf modules, assessments and an LMS platform.
