Construction firm handed 400k fine

This week construction company, Kier Construction was fined £400,000 after a worker suffered life-changing injuries.

Westminster Magistrate’s Court heard no steps had been taken to prevent Jair Morales from his accident which saw him fall 3.95 meters. An investigation by the HSE found that Kier failed to ensure their work was planned correctly and carried out in a safe manner. You can read the full article here
